The course is composed of two segments:
1. The first week concentrates on firearms training and essential hands-on security skills.
2. The second week covers the fundamentals of professional executive protection: methods and skills.
Week 1 – Firearms training
The overall goal of the first week: To gain the specific motor skills necessary to handle and use firearms. Course topics include:
o Choosing the right path under fire
o Defining real-time priorities
o Taking the initiative: how to gain the crucial advantage during a confrontation
- Hand-to-hand combat
- Urban warfare principles
Week 2 – Operational training
- Planning and evaluating a typical client itinerary and conducting a threat assessment

Securing client in all situations – while walking, at the client’s home, while attending public events, while driving, etc.
o Securing the area prior to arrival
o Searching for explosives and suspicious articles
o Planning emergency evacuations and readying escape routes
- The principles of First Aid
o Treating shock and minimizing trauma
o Treating common injuries and special wounds
- Codes of behavior with clients: do's and don'ts
- Equipment – what you need and where to get it
In the end of the course, the candidates will pass a graduation test in order to decide whether they indeed acquired the tools to become EP agent.
